Beyond excited to be able to finally announce this!!! Excited, honored and humbled Slamdance Film Festival

We are thrilled to introduce Michael Christopher Morin , our Festival Producer for !

Former long time assistant to director David O. Russell, Michael is well known for his extensive past in the LA independent music scene where he helped start the short lived DIY music venue The Church On York, tour managed garage punk band FIDLAR and production managed multiple venues like the Echoplex and Catch One.

A screenwriter and producer, Michael has multiple screenplays in development and has production coordinated numerous shorts and music videos from artists like Lilyachty, Noah_Cyrus and Father John Misty

Slamdance is one of the few festivals and organizations in film that truly embodies an altruistic DIY ethos, by nurturing and cultivating young filmmakers. Some amazing people have come before me with some pretty big shoes to fill. I look forward to bringing all of my skills and experience to THE festival by filmmakers for filmmakers!” —Michael Morin

Whether you’re sleeping, just waking up or up all night with you I’m constantly in awe of you. Congratulations on 11 years sober baby, you’re my inspiration everyday, day and night. Thank you so much for the tickets to & your show! It was easily one of the best comedy shows we’ve both ever seen. You’re set was so good that I completely forgot I was watching someone I’ve know for half my life. Simply put my face still hurts from laughing 2 nights ago. I’m so fu***ng proud of you dude!
