We go where the music takes us. Music is life over here and we simply follow the path that your art leads us down. That's the only way I know how to explain The Tuesday Pump Session and this station as a whole.

Life can be tough sometimes, and other times it can be like a dream... Music is always the constant that keeps us going through the best and worst of times.

Meeting and being a part of a community with creatives like Theresa Marie Music will always be one of my favorite things in life.

Your music is part of the soundtrack of my life... 🤘

Turns out AI and it's bot army drive some engagement and are actually a hot button topic and issue for little stations like this one.

It's been interesting seeing the responses and ensuing discussion! Thanks for mostly keeping it civil. I feel much more educated on the topic after last week. 🤘

AI has scanned and scoured the streaming services and anything posted on the net and stolen people's riffs and intellectual property and then uses what it learned from that theft to make the songs that people are sending prompts to create. Then as if that isn't good enough, now people are trying to steal that artists spot on the radio or a show or a platform using the fruits of that original theft.

The debate on AI music submissions needs to be had.

As an independent station, the entire reason this station was born, was, from the need to help get smaller and underground bands heard. Corporate radio does little in this area, hence Front Row Radio was born.

Since that birth, the rise of AI created and AI assisted music has appeared. It feels like a new attack on the same small and underground bands that this station was born to support. I am not anti-technology, and I love seeing advances that make life easier for humans on this planet. I am anti-submitting music as if its an actual band with humans playing instruments and singing when it's not.

When we listen to the big streaming services now, we get fed as much or more AI created or assisted music than human creations. I literally checked as my ear alerted me. 3 to 1 on YT Music which is the service I pay for. Front Row Radio refuses to be that.

All that said, I don't speak for other stations. I do think most of these indie stations and shows were born from the same needs though. Looking to support the little bands and underground.

This station will stand on that principle. We want to support the smaller unknowns and underground musicians that corporate radio misses or don't see. We want to support real people that have spent years working to perfect their art. Learned their instruments. Spent countless hours in the mirror practicing their Metal Stank Face. Cut their teeth in the little neighborhood bars and played to audiences of a couple of friends and a bartender.
