Ah yes, Perth Caba strikes again! Because out of ALL the developers in the world, the only one capable of building on prime waterfront real estate, land that’s been sitting abandoned for decades thanks to their own broken promises is, of course, Trump’s fam and Benny Netanyahu’s boy, Kushner!
And what a deal it is! A 35-year tax-free agreement—because why should a penny pinching billionaire-backed developer contribute to the city when hardworking residents and small businesses are expected to pay their fair share?
But don’t worry, this time they totally mean it. This time they’ll follow through, right? Because history has shown that when you give the wealthiest and most politically connected developers free rein, it always works out in favor of the people, right?
Meanwhile, if we follow the money trail, it conveniently leads to the same power players who always seem to benefit—political donors, backroom deals, and a cycle of favors that leaves Perth Amboy holding the bill.
But hey, financial literacy is overrated. Why invest in schools, infrastructure, or actual community development when we can subsidize more tax free development in an already densely populated city, instead?
