La Belle Epoque Bistro in Media is the perfect way to try French food without the expensive flights ✈️

Our favorite dishes were the goat cheese app, the mussels, and the dark chocolate mousse, but everything was great!

Chèvre Fouetté: This Goat cheese appetizer was incredible. So many amazing flavors in here

Moules Marinières: The sauce with these mussels was literally drinkable and we actually took the leftovers home

Magret de Canard: this Pan Roasted Duck was boneless had a really good sauce with it

Lavender Bliss Mocktail: so refreshing and not overly sweet

Boeuf Bourguignon: this French staple came with a mound of mashed potatoes and delicious veggies

Maris in Media has brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 10-3:30. The food that was brought out to our table was all flavorful and delicious. Emily our waitress, was sweet and gave us great recommendations.

What we ordered off the brunch menu
Cappuccino
Avocado Toast
Pomegranate Mimosa
Grilled Chicken skewer
Shrimp and Feta Orzo
hummus, eggplant, and spicy feta spreads

Dinner and dessert items:
Saganaki and chocolate hazelnut cake. Both were phenomenal.

Finally visited Darling Jack’s Tavern the other day and was so impressed! Our food was absolutely delicious. That burger was so juicy, I didn’t need to add anything to it. The watermelon salad was ridiculously fresh and the ravioli was so buttery and yummy!

What we ordered:

Jack’s Burger
LaFrieda double smash patty with tavern sauce, American cheese, grilled onions, a sweet potato bun, Green Meadow Farm half sour Kirby, pickles, and a side of fries

Lobster and Saffron Ravioli
potato-crème fraîche filled pasta with roasted corn, shellfish butter, spicy breadcrumbs, fiore sardo and chives

Watermelon and cucumber salad
Green goddess dressing, Persian, cucumbers, shaved, fennel, red onion, feta, Marcona almonds, crushed chili pepper, preserved lemon, and mint
