This song and music video were inspired by a dream I wrote in my dream diary.

The dream stayed with me.. the fear, the running, the feeling of being trapped, and then encountering a man who reminded me of Jesus.

He saw what I couldn’t see.
He wept for me.
He prayed for me.

And eventually, I found myself walking away from everything that had been chasing me, making my way home.

The video is my visual interpretation of what I saw and felt in that dream, while the lyrics are my reflection on what it meant to me.

Sometimes, we don’t understand what we’re carrying until God reveals what we need to let go of. And sometimes, after all the running, all the fear, and all the exhaustion, we look back and realize He was there through it all..praying for us, guiding us, and showing us the way home.

🌿 WORD FOR TODAY: Not Every Good-Looking Option Is Good

Every day, we make decisions - some big, some small. And sometimes, we may not realize that an option that looks harmless, convenient, or even good can lead us away from what God wants for us.

Not everything that offers temporary relief is the right solution.

Sometimes temptation comes disguised as an easy way out - a temporary pleasure, a quick fix, or something that seems to solve our problem immediately. It may look like fresh, beautiful fruit on the outside, but once we take it, we discover the consequences hidden underneath.

Remember, the enemy doesn't always tempt us with something that looks evil. Sometimes deception comes through something attractive, reasonable, and seemingly harmless.

That is why, before making a decision, don't only ask:

"Will this make me happy?"
"Will this solve my problem?"
"Will this make things easier?"

Ask instead:

"Does this decision align with God and His Word?"

What gives temporary pleasure today may bring lasting consequences tomorrow. But choosing God's way, even when it is harder, slower, or requires us to wait.. leads us toward life.

Pray before you decide. Seek God's wisdom. Examine the fruit. And never trade what God has prepared for you for something that only satisfies you for a moment.

Lately, it feels like everywhere we look, the world is shaking.

Floods. Earthquakes. Powerful storms. Sinkholes. Wildfires. So much destruction, and so many lives affected.

Some may say these are simply natural phenomena, climate change, or events that science can explain. And yes, there may be natural explanations for many things happening around us. But for those of us who have been reading the Scriptures, these things also remind us of what Jesus warned us about.. the world will experience troubles, and we are called to stay awake and be ready.

This is not the time for us to live in fear.

And this is also not the time to spend all our energy blaming, cursing, and hating people whether they are leaders, governments, or anyone else we believe is responsible for what is happening around us. God is still sovereign. Nothing takes Him by surprise.

What should we do?

Repent.
Turn back to God.
Pray.
Love one another.
Forgive.
Stay faithful.

The Kingdom of God is near, and Jesus is coming.

We don't know the exact day or hour. And honestly, we don't even know what will happen tomorrow. None of us are promised another day.

So let us live as if today could be our last.. not in fear, but with our hearts ready before God.

While we are still breathing, while our hearts can still hear His voice, we still have a chance. We still have a chance to turn to God. We still have a chance to truly get to know Him.

To seek Him.
To walk with Him.
To talk to Him.
To read His Word and understand His heart.
To let Him heal us, change us, and lead us.

We can spend our whole lives chasing temporary things and assume that we will always have tomorrow. We say, “I'll come to God someday.” “I'll change someday.” “I'll take my relationship with Him seriously when the time is right.”

But what if someday never comes?
That is why today matters.

While we are busy scrolling through social media, watching videos of disasters, reading breaking news, and witnessing tragedy after tragedy, let us also pause and ask ourselves:

Am I ready to meet the Lord?
Are our hearts right with God?
Have we forgiven those who hurt us?
Have we truly surrendered our lives to Him?
Are we living for temporary things while forgetting about eternity?

Jesus told us about the ten virgins who waited for the Bridegroom. Some were prepared and had oil for their lamps. Others were not ready when the Bridegroom came.

Let us prepare our lamps. 🕯️

Let us keep the oil burning.. not just by knowing about God, but by truly knowing Him. By walking with Him, seeking Him, obeying Him, loving Him, and allowing His Word to change us.

And while there is still time, let us share His love with others.

Not to scare people.
Not to argue.
Not to prove that we are right.

But because we love them and we don't want anyone to miss the hope, mercy, forgiveness, and salvation that Jesus freely offers.

The world may be growing darker, but the Light is still here.

And His name is Jesus. 🤍

So if you have been far from Him, it's not too late.

If you've made mistakes, it's not too late.
If you feel unworthy, it's not too late.
If you think you've gone too far, it's not too late.

As long as we still have today, there is still an opportunity to turn to Him.

Come back to Him.
Get to know Him.
Walk with Him.
Love Him.

Because we may not know what tomorrow holds but we know the One who holds eternity.

“Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.”

Jesus is coming. Let us be ready.. not with fear in our hearts, but with faith, hope, love, and our lamps burning brightly. 🕯️🤍

God wants you to trust him for victory in every area of your life.

Sheep are defenseless animals, they have no fighting skills. When they stray from the fold, they are quickly devoured by the wolf. So, they have learned that their safety and protection lie in staying close to the shephered. And same goes for you.

A song about loving someone who is still trapped in the shadow of the person who hurt them.

You tried to bring back their smile. You tried to heal their wounds. You gave everything you could, but sometimes, no matter how much love you give, you cannot compete with someone’s past.

When I started studying these teachings more carefully, mga kapatid (brothers and sisters), I realized that many false doctrines we hear today are not actually new. They appeared centuries ago and now often return under different names, language, or organizations. Some even use the name of Jesus while changing who Jesus truly is.

That is why this matters. If we get the identity of Christ wrong, eventually we will also get the Gospel wrong. So if you belong to a church or movement that teaches anything similar to these, my prayer is that you open your Bible and weigh everything through Scripture.

Arianism - teaches that Jesus is a created being and therefore not truly and eternally God. But John 1:1–3 says the Word was already there “in the beginning,” that “the Word was God,” and that all created things were made through Him. If everything created came through Christ, then Christ Himself cannot belong to creation.

Modalism - teaches that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are merely different modes or manifestations of one Person. Yet at Jesus’ baptism, the Son is in the water, the Holy Spirit descends upon Him, and the Father speaks from heaven (Matthew 3:16–17). Scripture reveals one God, but the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are truly distinct.

Tritheism - makes the opposite error by treating the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as three separate gods. But Deuteronomy 6:4 says, “The LORD our God, the LORD is one!” Christianity is not belief in three gods. There is one true God.

Docetism - teaches that Jesus only appeared to be human. But John 1:14 says, “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” Jesus truly took on our humanity, experienced hunger, weariness, suffering, death, and then rose bodily from the grave.

Nestorianism - separates Christ’s humanity and deity so sharply that Christ is treated almost as two persons. But Scripture presents one Lord Jesus Christ. The eternal Son Himself became flesh (John 1:14). Jesus is one Person with two natures, truly God and truly man. This is what Christians mean by the hypostatic union.

Eutychianism - goes the other direction and mixes Christ’s divine and human natures as though His humanity were absorbed into His deity. Yet Philippians 2:6–8 shows the eternal Son truly becoming man without ceasing to be who He eternally is.

Adoptionism - teaches that Jesus began as an ordinary man and was later adopted or elevated to divine Sonship. But Jesus speaks in John 17:5 of the glory He shared with the Father “before the world was.” The Son did not begin at Bethlehem or at His baptism. He is eternal.

Mga kapatid, the words may sound complicated, but the questions underneath them are simple: Who is God? Who is Jesus? What has God actually revealed about Himself?

This is why Acts 17:11 matters. The Bereans did not accept religious claims because a teacher sounded convincing. They searched the Scriptures to see whether those things were true.

The Bible gives us a consistent picture. There is one God (Deuteronomy 6:4), yet Jesus commands baptism “in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19). Paul likewise places all three together in 2 Corinthians 13:14. The Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God, yet they are not the same Person. And our Lord Jesus Christ is one Person, truly God and truly man.

We do not reshape God into something easier for our minds to understand. We receive what He has revealed in His Word. So the deeper question is not simply, “Do you believe in Jesus?” It is the question Jesus Himself asked: “Who do you say that I am?” (Matthew 16:15).

Mga Kapatid, Our answer cannot rest on feelings, organizations, traditions, or what sounds easiest. It must be tested through Scripture. And Scripture keeps pointing us to the same truth: Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, our Lord, our Savior, and our God.
