🔑 Honoring a Legacy of Service 🔑

On July 4, 2025, the City of Pinole proudly awarded the Key to the City to Tracy Walker on behalf of the late Robert Walker Jr., recognizing his 45 years of dedicated service in Public Works — the longest tenure in city history.

Surrounded by family, friends, City staff and community members at the 4th of July Celebration, Mayor Cameron Sasai presented the ceremonial key as a symbol of the City’s deepest appreciation for Robert’s unwavering commitment, hard work, and pride in keeping Pinole running strong.

Thank you, Robert, for being the heart of our city. You'll always be remembered. ❤️

It's at Pinole Community Television! In 2005, the City held an epic, youth-led groundbreaking ceremony where Pinole's youth and celebrated the building of the Youth Center for the community. Pinole Valley High School band was present to bring music and joy.

The Youth Center is a 2-story building where the PCTV studio is currently located. It is still a bustling place where the does a lot of its youth programming.
