🚨 NOW HIRING: TWO SERGEANTS 🚨

Yes, TWO. Because one supervisor can only handle so much chaos, caffeine, and “quick questions.”

The Pinole Police Department is looking for two solid leaders who can:
✔️ Supervise a team of dedicated officers (and occasionally play therapist, coach, and printer repair tech)
✔️ Keep things running smoothly — or at least looking like it
✔️ Balance law, order, and the eternal mystery of who left the lights on in the patrol car
✔️ Inspire excellence (and maybe bring donuts once in a while)

If you’ve got the leadership skills, tactical smarts, and enough patience to explain things twice — we want to hear from you.

There is no trash or recycle service in Pinole due to a work stoppage. Residents can bring 4 bags of garbage to the Golden Bear Transfer Station at 1 Parr Blvd Richmond, CA 94801 for free. That is all the information we have at this time.

Pinole Officers have been out and about around Bayfront Park and the San Francisco Bay Trail. If you're enjoying the outdoors, help us keep it safe by following these simple tips:
✔️ Let someone know where you're going and what time to expect you back 📢
✔️ Stay aware of your surroundings 🧐
✔️ Call the police if you see something strange 👮‍♀️
✔️ Stay on marked trails—avoid unmarked paths or shortcuts
✔️ Keep music volume low or use only one earbud so you can hear what's around you 🎶
✔️ Leave valuables at home 🏠
✔️ Watch for bikes, dogs, and other people. These are shared areas 🚴🐕‍🦺🚶‍♀️
