GRATITUDE is a practice; and it is just that. When we choose to take a moment and reflect on what we already have, we are put into a space of presence and mindfulness. Not to be hung up, wining of the past, nor frozen with anxiety, fearing for an unknown future…

I’ll be honest: I have had to practice much gratitude lately, every day, because of recent life changes. And instead of reacting so intensely to the adversity around, I have to choose to go inward and take control. My mother always told me, as a very explosive “big feelings” kinda gal that I am and always have been, she’d say, “ If you can control your thoughts, you can control your emotions.”
