We are stoked to present our first in a series of short films entitled "The Hills We Call Home" with Ski Vermont

Stories of skiing have been passed down from generation to generation, sharing the energy that awaits the first turns of the season.

Skiing's history came to be through these stories of old, revolving around countless turns and smiles. It was what you did in the winter time after school and on weekends if you were lucky enough to live in the mountains. It wasn't about gear or economic status, it was about ripping around with your friends, and seeing who could jump the highest ... farthest ... before racing down to the lodge to warm up with a mug of hot cocoa.

In many ways, skiing has changed and there are many variables facing the future of skiing. But there are a few operations who hold fast to what skiing has always provided... Freedom.

When you find yourself traveling through Vermont this winter and looking for skiing in its original state, look no further than NorthEast Slopes a community hill tucked into a hillside in East Corinth, VT. It is a place where strapping on a pair of skis never felt so free, and a place where you feel like a kid again.

What's the secret? Well, we'll let Wade tell you ...
