As you know I make a bunch of sourdough bread! The other day I went out, and turned the genny on that goes to my sourdough fridge. I carried a bunch of bread to Caleb’s shop, and my genny wasn’t working. I thought 💭 “maybe the oil needs to be topped off”. I quickly figured out oil wasn’t the problem, and I had a mess to clean up! My generator made it on Calebs schedule yesterday, and here’s what was wrong with it!!! My spark arrestor screen was totally plugged! Caleb did a great job of cleaning it, and my generator works great now! Caleb did let me know he was going to have to rebuild my generator.

I need that generator working in tip top shape! I mean after all we did schedule another town day July 30th! I ran out of 47 loaves in record time! I am going to see if I can push for 60 loaves! Details about our town day to come. Keep your eyes open!

I am amazed when I watch my husband. When we did the town day we had someone pull up with a water pump. They had it fixed somewhere, but there was no pressure when they got it back. Living off grid we know how important water pumps are. I mean after all that’s how we get water to our house. Caleb tells the gentleman “I always start by popping this off. Oh yup there’s a rock right there! Let’s check the other side. Yup there’s a rock there too!” It took Caleb all of about 10 minutes to figure it out, and get the rocks out.

Do you have an EU3000? Have mice been an issue for you? This generator was tossed over by a bear! It was probably tossed due to the dog food inside, and the bear could smell it! If you’d like Caleb to help you avoid a situation like this let us know!

After 2 days nonstop working I have 47 loaves of sourdough bread! We will see you tomorrow in the pullout right before you head into Garberville!

Look for us Wednesday the 9th! Caleb will be doing Wade’s Mobile, and I will have sourdough bread available! A lot of his customers are asking about my bread, so we thought we’d combine them!

We will be in the HUGE pullout right before you get to Garberville. The first 2 pictures are the pullout where we’ll be. We’d love for you to stop bye and say hi 👋! We will be there 9:30am-3:30pm! I will be there with sourdough bread until I sell out. I asked Caleb how many loaves I should make, and y’all must be talking to him a lot about my bread! Caleb told me to have 30 loaves of sourdough bread, so 30 loaves I’ll bring of all different sizes! See you this Wednesday!

Yesterday we had the honor of celebrating Caleb’s birthday! In true wife fashion I was busy cooking, and didn’t get hardly any pictures. 🤪

The love I have for Caleb is more than I can describe! I hope you had an amazing Birthday honey! We all love you!

Keep your eyes open in the coming weeks for Caleb to have a town day! Also, word seems to be getting around to his customers about my sourdough bread. His customers come and pick things up, and buy bread from me at the house. They request my bread when they schedule jobs with him…. So, with that being said you’ll see me, and my bread out there with him!

Tonight Caleb was giving me a run down on everything he did on a Eu3000 today. The list includes the following adjusted the valves, replaced the valve cover & gasket, breather tube, spark plugs, changed the oil, cleaned the spark arrestor screen, put a new battery in it & filled it up with gas! I started laughing to myself as he’s letting me know all this. Today he hooked a fridge up for me for all my sourdough. Since we live off grid my fridge needed its own generator, and this is “my generator” he serviced today.

It’s riding mower season in full effect here.Last week I worked on three riding mowers in the same day and all three had a pulley that the bearings were bad.
