Several people have reached out about live coverage for the upcoming sheriff debates in Spring Green and Baraboo. I completely agree that broadcasting these events is vital for our community!
To make a high-quality broadcast happen, there is quite a bit of behind-the-scenes work involved—from securing reliable network connections and audio mixing to managing venue-specific logistics. Because we operate independently, these production costs require dedicated funding.
The good news is that the Baraboo debate is being held in the library's excellent "Zoom Room," so we are hopeful they will be able to stream that event directly.
For the broader Sauk County primary forum, we are actively looking for local business sponsors or community partners to help cover production costs so we can bring you full, professional coverage. If your business is interested in sponsoring this broadcast, please send me a direct message!
An alternative idea:
I am also exploring a virtual forum where Sauk County residents can participate and submit questions to the candidates in real time. To keep the focus local, we would limit access to viewers inside Sauk County.
