Recent activity at the exhibit included a pleasant visit from Revere's Ricci and Retta LaCentra. I learned that Ricci was the drummer for the local alternative band Pastiche in the mid 1970s and recorded a 45 at Shirley Avenue's Euphoria Sound Studio. Ricci and Loretta recognized a vast majority of bands and musicians honored at the HomeTown Rocks exhibit. Retta was wearing a rare vintage t-shirt featuring the very first logo for Euphoria. I had to grab a photo. Ricci shared some of his prized memorabilia, too. Enjoy!

Although we have such an extensive collection of Revere Rock & Roll memories at our exhibit, we are always looking for more history and information on Revere rooted bands and musicians. A friend Paul Simonini asked if we were featuring the 1964 Shadows Four at HomeTown Rocks. We hadn't.

The rhythm guitar player, Revere's own Don Gelaides, clued us in with an Internet link that was loaded with images and information on the band. Always great to discover Revere's early rock bands. The Shadows Four cut a 45 record at our own Fleetwood Studios AND they were the first Rock & Roll band to appear at Boston's Music Hall. More about these guys at the Revere History Museum HTR exhibit.

The HomeTown Rocks exhibit will also be open. See 👀 you then!
