Radio- WXPR can be heard on your radio at 91.7 FM in a 70-mile radius of Rhinelander, Wisconsin, with extended service to Ironwood, Michigan via translator at 100.9 FM, and through a shared transmitter in Wausau, Wisc

If you're on your cell phone or tablet, tap the green play icon on the bottom left of your screen. The program that is currently playing will be listed next to the play icon. Smart Speaker- If you have an Amazon Echo (Alexa), just say "Alexa, play WXPR" For Google Home (Ok Google or Hey Google) say "Hey Google, play WXPR on TuneIn." For Apple HomePod (Siri) say, "Hey Siri, play WXPR." App- You can take WXPR with you wherever you go on the free WXPR App! Available on Android and Apple. Next Monday Dr. Zorba Paster will be at Campanile Center for the Arts! This event will be free, thanks to the Women's Legacy Council & Howard Young Foundation.

Dr. Zorba is coming to the Northwoods!

The Women's Legacy Council is excited to host Dr. Zorba Paster for a FREE talk titled, "Living Longer, Living Better" on Monday, October 6th from 5:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. at the Campanile Center for the Arts.

Dr. Zorba is the host of the long running WPR Radio Show, "Dr. Zorba on Your Health" and is known for his lighthearted and entertaining personality as well as his practical health information.

In addition to being a practicing physician for more than 40 years, Dr. Zorba teaches medical students and residents as professor of Family Medicine in Madison. He also cares for the Dalai Lama – arranging all of his medical care when he travels in the U.S.

ONE WEEK! See you there? 🤩

From hosts Nicolet College Arts & Enrichment:

Dig Deep is coming to Nicolet College in one week, on Friday, September 26, and it is going to be a SHOW! 🪕🤘
Join us as the College's Lakeside Center Patio is transformed into a waterfront concert venue. Admission is FREE, in partnership with WXPR.
🍔 The grill will be loaded with brats and burgers, walking tacos will be fresh, and bar service will be available. Food and beverages for purchase from 6 – 8pm. The show starts at 6:30pm.
About Dig Deep: Formed in 2015 in Stevens Point, WI, they blend traditional bluegrass and country with rock and roll, drawing from their extensive experience in punk and metal scenes.
