Thank You for an Amazing “Find Your Own Toto” Event!

We are so grateful to A.D. Players at The George Theater for inviting us to be part of the Find Your Own Toto event, it was such a hit! Our six stars of the day—Blue Bear, Fruit Bat, Dandy, Danica, Cosmos, and Andromeda—had the time of their lives posing for photos, getting treats and meeting so many wonderful people.

Events like this wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support of our community. A special thank you to Kat for organizing such a wonderful event, to Jamee for making sure all the pups were freshly bathed and ready to shine, and to Kasey for setting up the perfect photo op and keeping me on track during the chaos of loading up and getting there.

And a huge thank you to John, Jason, and Andrea for coming out to cuddle our little Toto-wannabes and introduce them to everyone who stopped by.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to share our dogs with the community—and for the love and support that make rescue work possible! ❤️🐾

✨🐾 Auditions Are Underway! 🐾✨
We’re searching for the perfect pup to accompany Dorothy down the yellow brick road… and by that, we mean we’re inviting adorable adoptable dogs to our Find Your Own Toto event! 🏠🌪️🐶

We held some very serious (and very silly) auditions this week, and while none of our candidates could tap dance in ruby slippers, we did discover that every one of them has heart, courage, and a whole lot of love to give. ❤️👠

Well, we planned to introduce the puppies with their brand-new winning names today… but life had other plans. 🐾

Yesterday, we welcomed SIX new dogs into the rescue—because when the call comes in, we have a hard time saying no. So the name reveal will have to wait just a little longer while we get these new pups settled, cleaned up, and showered with love. 💕

Stay tuned—we promise the names (and the cuteness overload) are worth the wait! 🐶✨

🌟 Cosmos Update! 🌟

Our sweet girl saw our favorite eye specialist yesterday, and we got the best news possible: while Cosmos is permanently blind, she’s not in any pain, and her eyes are healthy and not dry. 🙌

The vet believes her blindness is due to retinal damage—or that her retinas never fully developed. The scarring around her nose and mouth suggests she may have come in contact with something toxic or caustic in her past… but that’s behind her now. 💔➡️❤️

Cosmos is a happy, confident girl with incredible hearing—when you talk to her, she’ll turn her head like she’s looking right at you. 👂🐾

She’s officially ready for adoption! If you have love in your heart for a special needs pup with a gentle soul and a brave spirit, we’d love to send you an application. ✨
