A number of Christmas events have been canceled for Thursday due to inclement weather, officials said.

Both Madison and Ridgeland had Christmas tree lighting events scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 4, and both events have been canceled.

The City of Canton announced its Christmas Parade is rescheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 2 at 6 p.m.
