🏈⚽ Thursday Night Recap & Friday Night Preview

Last night, the North Moore Mustangs wrapped up their football season with a 3–7 overall record (0–4 conference) after a 32–13 road loss to Southwestern Randolph.

On the pitch, the Mustang soccer team closed their season with a 9–0 home loss to Southwestern Randolph, finishing the year 6–7–1 overall and 3–5 in conference play.

Both the football and soccer teams will now wait to see where their fate falls in the playoff brackets this weekend. 💪

Tonight, the regular season comes to an end for the rest of the county, and there’s plenty on the line:

🏆 Carolina Pines Conference Champions, Union Pines (8–1, 6–0)

The Vikings look to cap off an outstanding regular season as they host Western Harnett (3–6, 1–5) at 7 p.m.

🔥 Mid-South Conference Showdown, Pinecrest (8–1, 4–0)

The Patriots hit the road for their biggest test of the season at Richmond (7–2, 4–0). The winner will be crowned the 7A/8A Mid-South Conference Champion!

Make sure to bring the kids by Dollar General in Robbins (120 Hwy. 705) before or after you stop by the Town of Robbins Trunk or treat for free candy!!

At the Robbins DG please consider making a non parishable donation to help the Robbins Christian Ministries Food Bank. The food drive will be all month of November. You can also do ate $$ and management will purchase items for you.

The Carthage Dollar General at 945 Monroe St. Is also welcoming trick or treaters tomorrow night!

🏆 Tuesday Recap: Champions and Highlights Across the County!

Pinecrest Golf makes history again!
The Lady Patriots captured their fourth straight NCHSAA Golf State Championship, becoming only the third school ever to achieve that feat. This marks Pinecrest’s seventh overall title — and their first in the new 8A classification.

Despite Day 2 being canceled due to weather, Pinecrest dominated the leaderboard on Day 1:
