🩷Strawberry Brownies🩷

1 box strawberry cake mix
2 large eggs
1/3 cup of melted unsalted butter
1 teaspoon strawberry extract

Glaze

3/4 cup of powdered sugar
2 tbs strawberry preserves
1 1/2 tablespoons of milk

Preheat oven to 350. Spray 8x8 or 9x9 pan with nonstick spray. Place a piece of parchment paper on top. Combine cake mix, eggs, melted butter and extract. It will be thick. Spread in pan and bake for around 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow brownies to cool and combine glaze ingredients with a whisk. Poor on top and enjoy!

🩷🩷Strawberry Shortcake🩷🩷

1 box of white/yellow cake mix (or your fave cake recipe
1 container of strawberries in sugar (thawed)
1 8oz container of cool whip (or homemade)
Fresh strawberries for topping of cake

Prepare your cake in two round 8 inch cake pans . Allow to cool completely. Place first cake layer on cake board. Poke holes in top of cake. Spoon strawberries in sugar on top of first layer and spread out. Pipe your cool whip around the edges. Place your second layer on top of the first and repeat the previous steps with spreading the strawberries and sugar. Pipe the remaining cool whip on top and around the open layer. Cut up the fresh strawberries and decorate the top with them! I like to put a couple of whole ones in the center and drizzle with some of the strawberry juice!! So good and easy! And BEAUTIFUL! Enjoy!
