A Letter to My Little Self — Candy Bibi Baptême Adeline-Éspérance
If I could speak to the four-year-old you, I would make sure you know that you are brave, smarter than you think, kind, and extremely loving. I would tell you that God, in His mercy, will give you a gift—something you will eventually need as an anchor and an outlet to help you navigate some of the toughest moments you will face.
I would also tell you that, at some point in your life, you might feel full of hatred for yourself, but that God will bless you with a son, whom you will call your saving grace. I would remind you that you will face challenges tougher than most, but you will come out victorious every time.
I would tell you that, when you once thought you were a mere thing with no voice, God will bless you with a voice that commands. I would encourage you to hang on to God, stay the course, and enjoy the adventure that lies ahead.
I love you, little girl. 💗
