traits, and yet still the least understood. We know more about the conditions on Pluto than we know about the human mind, heart and soul. In order to have a civil exchange of ideas we’ve got to preserve one rule- the Rule of Respect. Respect does not mean appeasement, acquiescence or even acceptance. It means a basic compassion or caring- a recognition that no matter how different, the person I differ with is made of the same human substance. It’s an acknowledgement of the humanity of even our enemies. Too often people confuse respect and compassion with only kindness or tolerance. Thank you for participating or just for "LIKING" us!

We are incredibly proud to announce the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the brand-new **WWII Museum** at the **VFW Post 6249** right here in Rocky Point, NY! 🇺🇸✨

This museum is a labor of love, dedicated to preserving the stories, artifacts, and unmatched bravery of our Greatest Generation. From local heroes to historic global moments, these exhibits ensure that their sacrifices are never forgotten. 🎖️📜

A massive thank you to everyone who came out to support, our amazing veterans, and the volunteers who worked tirelessly to bring this vision to life. ❤️🤍💙
