💜October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month - a time to bring light to struggles too often hidden behind closed doors.
💜 Domestic violence doesn’t just mean physical harm. It can also look like:
• Emotional abuse & constant criticism
• Coercive control (isolation, tracking, financial control)
• Fear of saying “no” or setting boundaries
Domestic violence impacts women, children, and men. Too often, men suffer in silence, fearing stigma or disbelief. But abuse is never a sign of weakness and reaching out for help is an act of strength.

If you are suffering in silence, please reach out to a loved, friend, or professional for help. DM us and we can help you find the right resources.
If you have a loved one or friend living in an abusive situation, please reach out to them and check on them subtly. And listen to them without judgment or advice. Sometimes they just need to be heard and their abuse validated.
You’re not alone and your situation isn’t hopeless! Please reach out for help. 🤗💜
No one should suffer in silence. Together, we can raise awareness, break the stigma, and build communities of safety and resilience. 💜
