The 63rd Annual Louisiana Watermelon Festival is proud to unveil our 2026 commemorative poster, beautifully illustrated by local artist Dianne Anders.

This year’s artwork is dedicated to the memory of James “Cooter” Anderson, a beloved Farmerville businessman, outdoorsman, coach, mentor, and friend. For nearly five decades, Cooter served the community through Anderson’s Sport Center, where he shared his passion for hunting, fishing, and the outdoors with generations of North Louisiana families. His generosity, work ethic, and love for Farmerville left a lasting impact that continues to be felt today.
