The Semisi Niu Foundation increased its yearly commitments in 2020, mostly to cover pandemic-related needs. The foundation dedicated 200,000 usd to helping support healthcare and education systems as well as nonprofits and small businesses across the country. It also donated 100,000usd to accelerate the development of a Covid-19 treatment. And it pledged 50,000usd over 10 years to close the gap in college graduation rates across income levels at the University of Australia, where Semisi was a music executive before becoming a big player in the entrepreneurship world.
