I love studying history, culture, and language. In Door into Darkness I took a lot of inspiration and names from lost cultures all over the world. In the case of the Waritiwanaku, I reference several now nearly extinct languages in Africa. Today my good friend, and one of the marketers that helped our kickstarter be successful has shared with me another crowdfunding campaign with the goal of preserving and empowering the beautiful and diverse languages and cultures of Africa.
