The office for the next two weeks.

Also, I guess this is a good time to introduce the new bass to the line up. I bought her last May and she has been a dream to play on. I look forward to a long time playing this young Italian beauty.

.eden.glass created this beautiful piece for me and my bass room. I love getting to add more bass art to my practice space. What are you favorite bass related art pieces that you own?

Happiest of Holidays Friends!

This is my last video of the year. This is an arrangement I did a couple of years ago. However, I wanted to give it another go with one of my favorite people to collaborate with, Michael Nebeker. He did a wonderful job on violin, and you will hear me, Kayleigh Dahl on bass.

I hope your holiday season has been merry and bright.

Happy Holidays! Isn't it crazy that we already half way through the month of December?

Here is this Sunday's Holiday tune for your enjoyment. I had the pleasure of finally being able to collaborate with one of my talented niece's Chelsea Hansen! The other rock star bassist is my lovely friend Noelle Wiley. They are the true stars of this tune.

Super thankful to work with not only these two but everyone else in my studio.

Happy Holidays Everyone!

This is audio from a couple of my wonderful students in my bass studio who where rock stars and completed their first recording session a few weeks ago on this piece. I want to give a special shout out to my cousin Aaron Payne who helped on bells. This is an arrangement I did by request of a good friend, Tabitha Park.

For those of you who teach lessons, do you give holiday gifts? If so, what will you be gifting?

Happy Holidays everyone!
If you remember my videos from the last couple of years this is a WAY lower key version of what I will be doing this year. I wanted to give a shout out to one of my students from Park City, who has been working on confidence while playing. He gave me permission to record him playing his chosen holiday song “O Come O Come Emmanuel,” by ThePianoGuys, adapted by me. Didn’t he do an awesome job?!

Teaching lessons on Halloween and this is as festive as I got today. 😝🎃
Anyone else dressing up with their instruments today? Anyone else have no shows with their students because of the holiday? 😭
Happy Halloween, all!

🎃
This is one of my awesome cello students, Kaylee (haha, yes we have the same name). She is playing one of her chosen pieces, Hedwigs’s theme from . Happy Halloween, all!

It is always a pleasure working with and her uyso groups. Tonight was no exception. I love getting the chance to play with schools and community groups of the younger/next generation of musicians. These folks have worked hard to get to where they are and will do great things no matter what their next adventures are in life. ❤️

I have a couple of new friends to join my gear family. My and pernambuco German bow! I have more students taking to the German bow hold and I need to make sure I could play with them. Also, giving the Wiedoeft rosin a spin this go around. 🙌
