Construction on the Bacolod Philippines Temple is moving into its final stages, with the exterior now complete and stained-glass windows installed.

Recent work has focused on preparing the grounds and infrastructure. Crews have set forms for the driveway on the temple’s south side, which will connect to a wrap-around parking lot bordering three sides of the building and linking to the ancillary structure on the east.

Inside, finishing work continues as workers put the final details in place. Landscaping around the temple is also underway, signaling that the project is nearly ready to welcome the community.

Excitement is building among members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Cambodia as they prepare for the opening of the Phnom Penh Temple.

Family history consultants from across the country recently gathered in the capital for training, commemorating the event with a group photograph taken in front of the rising temple. A separate meeting was also held to share information about opportunities to serve within the temple once it is operational.

Though dates for the open house and dedication have not yet been set, Cambodian Saints are organizing and training now to ensure they are ready when the temple doors open. For many, this long-awaited house of worship will stand as a profound blessing and a milestone in the history of the faith in their country.

Evening skies in Sanpete County are glowing a little brighter. The exterior lighting system for the Ephraim Utah Temple has been installed, and residents have gathered in recent nights to watch the new temple illuminated in testing.

As landscaping progresses and finishing work continues inside, the project enters its final phase after more than three years of construction. The temple is anticipated to open next year, marking a historic addition to central Utah’s spiritual landscape.

Once complete, the Ephraim Temple will become the county’s second house of worship for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, joining the iconic Manti Utah Temple, which has stood since 1888.

For many in the valley, the lighting tests are more than just a milestone in construction — they are a sign that the temple, long anticipated, is almost ready to welcome the community.

While dates have not yet been set for the public open house and dedication of the Davao Philippines Temple, work behind the scenes is accelerating as the sacred building nears completion.

An open house and dedication committee has been organized and divided into specialized subcommittees, each tasked with ensuring a meaningful experience for visitors. Plans are underway for music, logistics, and community outreach, with choir auditions already taking place.

Meanwhile, adjustments are being made to temple staffing. Workers currently serving in the Cebu City Philippines Temple who are scheduled to transfer to Davao are being replaced by local members, a move that will strengthen the temple’s connection to the surrounding community once it begins operation.

When dedicated, the Davao Temple will join a growing network of temples across the Philippines, reflecting the continued expansion of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the region.

Nearly three decades after the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints formally organized its presence in Mongolia’s capital, church leaders have announced the location of what will become the country’s first temple.

The temple, planned as a single-story building of about 18,850 square feet, will rise on nearly 11 acres along Naadamchid Road in Ulaanbaatar’s Khan Uul district. The project will also include a meetinghouse and housing for worshippers who travel long distances to attend services.

The announcement was made Friday by the church’s First Presidency, which also released a site plan and architectural rendering.

For many Mongolian Latter-day Saints, the news marks the culmination of a spiritual journey that began modestly in the early 1990s, when missionary couples first arrived to teach at universities and high schools. Restricted from preaching openly, they shared their faith privately with interested students. The first baptisms took place in February 1993, followed by the creation of the Ulaanbaatar Branch the next year.

The church’s footprint grew steadily. A district was organized in 1996, and by the end of the decade membership reached nearly 2,000 spread across nine branches. By 2001, Mongolian members could read the Book of Mormon in their own language. The country’s first stake was established in 2009, and today more than 12,500 Latter-day Saints worship in nearly 25 congregations nationwide.

The Ulaanbaatar temple was one of 20 new sites announced by church president Russell M. Nelson last October, alongside locations in the Philippines and Japan. For members in Mongolia, the temple represents not only a sacred space but also a recognition of the faith community’s endurance and growth in a country where their history is barely three decades old.

Nestled in the city of Zoetermeer, near The Hague, the Hague Netherlands Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints stands as a symbol of faith, service, and spiritual dedication. Dedicated on September 8, 2002, by President Gordon B. Hinckley, it was the second temple built in the Benelux region, following the temple in Bern, Switzerland, which for decades served Dutch members.

The temple’s design reflects both modern simplicity and sacred symbolism. While smaller than some of the grand temples in the United States, it was carefully constructed to meet the needs of Latter-day Saints in the Netherlands and neighboring countries. The building’s light stone exterior and elegant stained-glass windows create a sense of peace and reverence, harmonizing with the Dutch landscape.
