Hailing from Iowa, then Minnesota and finally Utah, SubTwo has been DJ’ing and rocking dance floors since 1993. His sets are a seamless mix of Deep House, Tech House, right through to Techno and everything in between. He captures the listeners imagination with infectious melodies infused with phat, chunky basslines, and slamming percussion. He has supported the likes of Roy Davis Jr., Mark Farina,

DVS1, Alexander East, Halo and Collette to name a few and taken his mixing skills all around the US and Canada. While living in Iowa in the early 90’s, SubTwo’s music career quickly took off and soon he was pushing dance beats at venues all over the Midwest. Joining forces with DJ Universoul, Phase Two, Starscream ( #0 of the now famed Heavy Metal band Slipknot), they formed the DJ collective known as Sound Proof Coalition (SPC). Together they helped lay the foundation for dance music parties throughout the city of Des Moines IA. and threw several events all over the city exposing music lovers too many different styles of dance music. Their success eventually garnered them sponsorship from Mattix Clothing and DVS Shoe company. SubTwo and the rest of SPC DJ’ed all over the mid-west and gained a lot of recognition throughout which led to shows in Canada, Florida Winter Music Conference and even the 2002 Winter Olympics to name a few. Continuing to grow as an artist and expand his reach, SubTwo moved to Minneapolis MN. where he quickly established himself as a musical influence in the underground dance music scene. SubTwo played the world famous First Avenue Nightclub(from the movie Purple Rain), various raves, festivals, clubs and held many residencies in downtown Minneapolis such as SouthBeach, Jet, Club Splash and the Elbow Room. Since those early years, SubTwo moved to Utah in 2005 where he quickly established himself as a musical influence in the underground scene. He has held many residencies over the years and played many legendary venues in Utah such as the The W Lounge, Bricks, Zest Bar, Mint Lounge, Urban Lounge and various other spots around SLC, along side local favorite DJ’s Riche BoOm, Felix Vilar, The Valencia Brothers, Nate LowPass, Loki, IN2GR8, Nosay and many others. Always wanting to grow in the dance music scene, SubTwo has come a long way and continues to hone his craft delving into music production, podcasting, brand development and online streaming.

This Saturday we open the c0ldstorage for ROMio!

Underground DJ and producer, Romio understands the 4 on the floor. From dark and punchy, driving Tech to groovy, quirky bass lines in House, they really lock in the pocket of blended tracks. Romio's style reminds me of Detroit after parties.

Based in Salt Lake City, Romio's been putting in work, rocking House and Techno parties in the local nightlife. Let's see what they've got in store for us.
