The Pole House is a classic Sea Ranch home which epitomizes this community's concept of living lightly on the ground. The Pole House is literally built on seventeen massive posts firmly anchored into the ground which gives it the distinction of having the least intrusive footprint. Entry into The Pole House is from a spacious parking area, up a short flight of steps onto a small covered porch, tha

t shelters you from inclement weather while you are getting the keys out of your pocket. Inside there is a vestibule for coats and such and then you enter the great room of the home. To the left is the kitchen area and to the right the sitting area with a dining table and four chairs in between the kitchen and sitting areas. The house phone (with free domestic and international calling) is located next to a large window in the kitchen area. The kitchen itself is very well equipped with everything that you need for snacks, meals and/or feasts. The window in the dining area is a sliding glass door which opens out to a delightful porch with umbrella and chairs... the ideal spot for an al fresco meal or an evening of star gazing or simply for a morning cup of coffee. A coffee press and drip are provided and a variety of complimentary coffee is available in the kitchen. The living room area is equipped with comfortable seating, a wood burning stove and a large flat screen television. An electric space heater is available if additional warmth is needed. Internet access is provided free of charge so you can keep current with your email and page. Two very comfortable bedrooms (one queen and one double) and a bath are located just off of the living area.
