📢 IMPORTANT COMMUNITY NOTICE: HOME AFFAIRS VISITING SEABE TRIBAL OFFICE TOMORROW, THE 20th JUNE! 🇿🇦

Attention Seabe and surrounding communities! The Department of Home Affairs will be deploying a mobile unit to our local Tribal Office to assist residents with Smart ID Card Applications.

If you or your children need a new Smart ID, this is your chance to skip the long town queues and get sorted right here at home!

📍 Venue: Seabe Tribal Office (Mosate)

Date: Tomorrow, Saturday, 20 June 2026
⏰ Time: 10:00 AM until 13:00 PM

📋 WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU:
To ensure your application goes smoothly, please make sure you have the following documents ready:

For First-Time Applicants (16 years and older)
Certified copy of Birth Certificate.
ertified copy of one parent/legal guardian's ID book or smart card.
The parent or legal guardian must accompany the applicant.

For Re-issues / Replacing Green ID Books:
Your current Green Barcoded ID Book.
The standard R140 fee.

For pensioners who are over 60 and above
Your current Green Barcoded ID Book.
Free of charge.

📢 HISTORY WAS MADE ON THE 16TH AT MADUBADUBA SPORTS GROUND! 2nd ANNUAL FUN WALK & MARATHON RECAP 🏃‍♂️💨🏆

Seabe and surrounding villages, we came, we saw, and we shook the entire region! on Teusday, the atmosphere was electric as thousands of you swarmed the streets from 06:00 AM sharp to celebrate Youth Day with pure unity, sweat, and community pride.

From our fierce marathon runners who tore up the asphalt to the energetic fun walkers who filled the roads with joy, every single participant showed out and left their heart on the track!

🥇 THE ROYAL MEDAL CEREMONY & SPECIAL HONORS 🏅

The highlight of the day was our prestigious Medal Ceremony, led by our respected leader Kgosi E.P. Chaane. Accorporated by the visionary Mr. Mpho Motsepe, Kgosi of Nokaneng, and other Honourables, they personally handed over the gold, silver, and bronze to our local champions.

But the most emotional and historic moments came when special, honorary medals were awarded to:
👑 The Chief’s Mother, honoring the royal maternal pillar of our community.
♿ Our beloved Seniors from Gatelang Pele Batsofe , who proudly received their medal.

📚 BUILDING THE FUTURE: SCHOOL DONATION HANDOVER 🎒

Yesterday wasn’t just about sports, it was about real development. The Mpho Motsepe Foundation alongside our traditional and public leadership executed a massive, life-changing School Donation Handover, equipping our local youth with the tools they need to conquer their education and build a better tomorrow.

🎨 A ROYAL PORTRAIT BY SEABE’S OWN TALENT 🖌️

In a breathtaking display of local artistic talent, two incredible young men from the village stepped forward to present a stunning, custom-built special portrait to Kgosi E.P. Chaane. It was a beautiful moment showing that Seabe's youth are not just athletes, but master creatives!

🎭 THE FESTIVAL FINALE: CULTURE & MUSIC TAKE OVER! 💃🕺

When the dust settled on the tracks, the stadium erupted into a full-scale cultural explosion! The ground was moving as the crowds were treated to spectacular, high-energy performances from:
🎺 Diturupa & Stepe (Keeping the heritage alive!)
🌍 Traditional Cultural Dancers
🎤 Our local Musical Artists who set the main stage completely on fire!
