Equinox Studios

Equinox Studios Established in 2006, Equinox is the largest arts venue in Georgetown.
(360)

Equinox Studios - The Creative Industrial Complex has breathed new life to a 30,000 square foot industrial building circa 1941, in the southwest corner of the historic Georgetown neighborhood. With studios ranging from 120-3000 square feet, Equinox is now the creative space for over 40 artists and artisans from all disciplines... metalworking, woodworking, ceramics, painting, photography, design,

video, sculpture, and much more. Equinox is open to the public every second Saturday during the Georgetown Art Walk and holds an annual open house each December. It is also the home base for the new Georgetown Art Ride, a shuttle bus that will take you to several shuttle stops throughout the neighborhood to enhance your art walk experience.

Check out more paintings from Greg Sinibaldi, our Equinox Artist of the Month in October!

From Greg: As a mixed media artist, I find inspiration and liberation in the act of creation, akin to the freedom I experience in my musical process. My work, characterized by the fusion of acrylic painting and collage techniques, falls under the category of figurative abstraction. This amalgamation allows me to explore the vast spectrum of emotions and themes, reflecting my desire to evoke personal interpretations and connections from the viewer.

See Greg’s work at our next artwalk on 10/11 at the pop-up gallery space in the Living Room Building!

Happy October folks! Check out the works of Greg Sinibaldi, our Equinox Artist of the month!

A few words from Greg himself:
I’m a Seattle-based artist and musician, and my paintings grow out of the same improvisational energy that drives my music. I work in mixed media, often on found materials, letting symbols, textures, and forms emerge through an intuitive process. Painting is a way for me to explore inner landscapes and emotional states while leaving space for viewers to bring their own interpretations. It’s also where I feel the most free — a reminder of how I want to feel when I make music.
I’m excited to share my visual work at the Equinox Gallery Space throughout October, and I’ll also be performing around town this fall.
