This is the part of being self employed people don’t see! I am here working at night to get caught back up after being out almost a week. I almost lost my mother this last week after losing my father in March.

Keep eye out for updates! Congratulations to class of 2026!

Silsbee ISD is closely monitoring the weather for Friday night’s Graduation Ceremony and wanted to share our current plans with Tiger Nation:

- Plan A: Graduation takes place as scheduled Friday night at Tiger Stadium. We are willing to delay and work around the weather as late as 10:00 PM.
- Plan B: If storms continue late into Friday night, graduation will move to Saturday morning outdoors at Tiger Stadium. Time is still TBD.
- Plan C: If weather is still an issue Saturday morning, graduation will move indoors to the SHS Auditorium at 12:00 PM.

Our goal is to keep graduation outdoors at Tiger Stadium because we know that is what our graduates, families, and community truly want. However, if the weather does not cooperate, we will make adjustments as needed to keep everyone safe.

Silsbee High School will provide each member of the Class of 2026 with an umbrella for use on the field. Umbrellas will not be allowed in the stands so views are not blocked during this special moment for our families and guests. We encourage attendees to bring rain jackets, towels, or ponchos if needed.

If we have to hold the ceremony inside the auditorium, will have overflow for those who wish to be at the school. Details are being finalized about where this will be held. We will update this post once that information is finalized.
