We haven’t had any good examples of that in the past. No, it’s not one where you go, “Oh, that one worked out.” Right?

And so again, this is people trying to use my religion to control others. That’s the name of the game. And we’re seeing that here.

To say that people are absolutely losing their minds of Zohran Mamdani’s win in New York City’s Democratic Primary would be the understatement of the century. They are going nuts from continuous Fox News coverage to insane AI videos attacking him. In the end he won that race by being genuine, loving where he lives, talking to the people he wants to lead, and coming up with proposed solutions to their problems. Revolutionary isn’t it? That win has sparked a lot of interest in running for local offices. Run For Something is dedicated to helping young people and others learn how to run and win. Our host Fred Wellman sits down with Amanda Litman the President and Co-founder of Run For Something to talk about Mamdani’s win, why folks should run, and how the Democratic Party needs to change to meet the moment. Amanda has been in the political world for a while starting back as Hillary Clinton’s campaign email director. Charlie Crist’s digital director when he ran for governor in 2014 and as one of the first employees at Organizing for Action as deputy email director. She was also the email writer for Barack Obama’s re-election. She is a Northwestern University graduate and author and currently lives in Brooklyn. Her new book is called, "When We're in Charge: The Next Generation’s Guide to Leadership" and is a guidebook for millennials and Gen Z on how to be an effective leader.

Huge update — I’ll keep this quick.

Yesterday, we shared that TikTok hit us with two strikes and a ban warning. After initially rejecting our first appeal, we won on the second. That means the ban warning has been lifted—for now.

This was a sobering reminder of how quickly we can be silenced. And we want to make sure that if it happens again, we’re prepared.

A 2020 Guardian investigation into Elite's Look of the Year competition uncovered allegations from former contestants and industry insiders that the competition was used by founder John Casablancas and others to engage in sexual relationships with vulnerable young models, some of whom were teenagers.

FBI AGENTS TOLD TO FLAG MENTIONS OF TRUMP IN EPSTEIN RECORDS, SAYS SEN. DURBIN

In a new letter to AG Pam Bondi, Durbin writes,

"According to information my office received, you then pressured the FBI to put approximately 1,000 personnel in its Information Management Division (IMD), including the Record/Information Dissemination Section (RIDS), which handles all requests submitted by the public under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Privacy Act, on 24-hour shifts to review approximately 100,000 Epstein-related records in order to produce more documents that could then be released on an arbitrarily short deadline. This effort, which reportedly took place from March 14 through the end of March, was haphazardly supplemented by hundreds of FBI New York Field Office personnel, many of whom lacked the expertise to identify statutorily-protected information regarding child victims and child witnesses or properly handle FOIA requests.

My office was told that these personnel were instructed to "flag" any records in which President Trump was mentioned."
