This weekend I experienced magic.

I had a hand in creating magic for the town I get to call home.

For three days I watched families laugh together. I watched all ages sitting on the sidewalks coloring with chalk together. I saw children’s eyes light up as they sat alongside professional artists who turned a simple street into the most amazing chalk art i’ve ever seen.

When the roads opened back up after three days of pure happiness, it made me cry because it felt like the magic was over. That the months of planning and running a festival just ended. But last night as I scrolled through the 700 pictures and videos I took over the weekend, I was reminded of that magic once again.

This weekend I experienced magic for what felt like the first time and It’s a feeling I never ever want to forget. Getting to share the magic with my family and my community fills me in every way.

I think from here on out, i’m going to ask myself every single day “did you make space for magic today” so I can always remember the way I felt this weekend.

oh my my, what a time to be alive ❤️

I lived a thousand lives at the concert on Friday at PNC Park. From thinking I wasn’t going to get a ticket to securing day of tickets on THE FLOOR was 🤯

For the last three years I’ve listened to Noah Kahan non-stop and to finally see him in person was a full circle moment for me. Hearing him play Maine and Orange Juice and all the songs from his new album…there is no words to describe how perfect the night was.

Thank you for writing incredibly depressing but also beautiful music.

And Now to convince my husband getting a bug tattoo is necessary 🐞
