Black women are too often ignored in hospitals—even when they know something isn’t right with their own bodies.

This message is simple: trust yourself, speak up, and don’t let anyone dismiss your voice when your health is on the line.

Stories can raise awareness. But they can also build solutions.

That’s part of the vision behind The Emancipation of Limits—using storytelling to help create real change, real access, and real support systems designed with Black women in mind.

Advocate for yourself. Bring someone with you. Ask again if needed. Your life is worth the extra question.
