THE NEXT CHAPTER OF CCFY

This one is emotional for me.

In 2015, CCFY stood for "Canvas Creations For You".

It started at my kitchen table with an idea, turned into paint parties, studios, events, thousands of paintings, friendships, memories and a business that completely changed my life.

And for a long time after closing the studios and moving to Florida, I think I kept trying to figure out where CCFY fit into this version of my life.

Turns out... it was right in front of me the whole time.

CCFY is now Creative Connections For You.

And suddenly, everything I've spent the last few years building makes sense.

Ideas. Businesses. Opportunities. Content. Events. Something from absolutely nothing.

💙 CONNECT.
Small businesses with customers. Business owners with each other. My community with the incredible shops, spots, sips and people hiding right here in Tampa Bay.

🩵 EMPOWER.
Entrepreneurs to stop hiding. To understand their online presence. To show up. To learn how to use the tools they already have and make their business easier to FIND.

This isn't me starting over.

It's actually the opposite.

It's me finally realizing that CCFY was never really about a canvas.

BIG changes are coming to CCFY 💜 And you know I am ALWAYS transparent.

When I originally built CCFY.store, the vision was to create a place where Tampa Bay could discover and support local businesses.

That part isn’t going away — but CCFY is growing into something bigger.

Moving forward, CCFY will become the home of everything I create, share, teach and genuinely recommend.

That means you’ll start seeing more:

📍 Tricia Tries It — local restaurants, experiences, businesses and things to do

🎂 Basic B Bakery — cakes, cookies, cake pucks and custom creations

🎨 Face Painting + Events

The biggest change?

CCFY is no longer going to exist primarily as a directory for other businesses.

I’m building an audience first.

I want people finding CCFY because they watched a Tricia Tries It video, searched for something locally, found one of my blogs, needed a cake, wanted help with their business, were looking for something to do, or simply wanted a recommendation they could trust.

And when those people arrive?

They’ll still discover amazing local businesses along the way.

There will now be a difference between **CCFY Recommended businesses** and **paid CCFY Members.**

💜 **CCFY Recommended** businesses are businesses I personally know, trust, have tried, worked with or genuinely feel comfortable recommending.

⭐ **CCFY Members** are businesses actively participating in the platform. Members receive enhanced profiles, priority visibility, ongoing updates, promotional opportunities, member-only resources, exclusive deals, and access to additional business help and opportunities

And one thing will NEVER change:

Membership does not buy my recommendation.

If I tell you I love a business, it’s because I actually do.

I’ve poured a tremendous amount of time, money and heart into building CCFY, and this next chapter is about making sure the platform grows in a way that supports my own businesses and family while still giving me the opportunity to do what I love — help good businesses get seen.
