We’re proud to share this video we produced for the Huron County Board of Mental Health and Addiction Services, highlighting the powerful impact their work has on the lives of people in their community.

This project came to life through our long-standing relationship with the Huron County Board of Developmental Disabilities—proof that collaboration creates deeper stories and stronger communities.

We have such a long-standing partnership with Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities and it was great to take a creative new look at how to present the end of the year annual message. Thanks for being such an amazing partner and everything you are doing for your community!

We were honored to partner with The Arc of the United States at the Capitol in Washington, D.C. to help amplify powerful stories about why Medicaid matters.

At this national rally, families, advocates, and people with developmental disabilities came together to remind lawmakers that Medicaid is more than a policy—it’s a lifeline. It’s access to care, to independence, to dignity.

We’re proud to help tell these stories. Because behind every sign, every photo, every voice—is a life that deserves to be seen, heard, and supported.

It's an amazing tool to impact your long-time team members as well as new hires in order to start their new job at your organization with a sense of purpose and value!

We are so excited to launch this new course that we know will help transform cultures of organizations and ultimately help people remember WHY they do what they do in the developmental disabilities field!

I had the pleasure of having lunch with Ray Schmidt today of Echoing Hills Village, Inc. This man right here completely changed my life. I owe my career to him.

He hired a 26 year old John Silfies, who had no college education, no direction in life (I thought I was just going to be in a rock band my whole life), and gave me the greatest gift that I could never repay. He not only gave me my first job in the DD field as a Direct Support Professional, but he poured into my life. He pushed me to grow. He encouraged me to pursue passions. He saw something in me that I couldn't even see in myself. And it put me on the path to running Silfies Media today that serves the developmental disabilities field 14 years after my first day on the job with him.

I have no idea what my life would look like without Ray's guidance and intervention in my life. I am so thankful that we still keep in touch after all these years.

If you have someone in your life that has helped you get to where you're at today - if you're lucky enough to still be able to - you should thank them today.
