📣 Sidewalks in downtown Springfield are getting a makeover!

• In an effort to be good stewards of taxpayer's money, SWSC devised a plan to install new water services to the downtown area customers after the sidewalk is torn out and before it is replaced.
• By installing these new services during the downtown sidewalk replacement, we can ensure that sidewalks will only be torn out one time. When the Downtown Waterline Replacement occurs, the contractor will be able to tie into the existing meters without damaging the new sidewalks.
• SWSC is making a strong effort to keeping affected customers up to date on when services will be replaced.
