Thursdays is a day to reserve for yourself, in the Farmhouse to sit a spell by a warm fire with others and either learn to crochet, knit, needle punch, rug hook etc., for a donation of $5.

Let me know your coming via call or text, 937-346-5628, and I’ll save you a seat and cup of tea. We welcome you!
A great way to meet others, this is a NEW and returning Clark County Fiber Guild.

What Is a Fiber Guild?

A fiber guild is a local or international group for enthusiasts of textile arts like weaving, spinning, knitting, crocheting, felting, and dyeing, focused on sharing knowledge, fostering creativity, and preserving traditions through workshops, meetings, and collaborative projects, uniting people with a common passion for working with fibers.

A Guild,
Warmly,

Transitioning to a whole new artistic whim.
A new journey has begun.
A fresh start - a transitioning.
Studio work marked in time.
An expression of my own personal journey. Decades of feeling as mere production.
As an assembly line - teaching, instructing.
This time is selfishly for me. Job done.
I will indeed see where this part of the exploration along the crooked road leads.
If any. And I am good with just the walk.

Our Story

We are a family owned and operated generational Family Farms who operates an Art Studio offering Artistic Services for Youth & Family.

We work hard together as family to share with others our time and talent dedicated to offering art instruction with various multiple mediums and disciplines of paint, wood, sculpture, clay and fiber and textiles.

Our lead teacher (Marsha Kerr) holds multiple professional academic disciplines such Bachelor of Arts in Humanities & Liberal Studies and Masters Degree in Education. Our sons’ Noah and Jonah spend time working and volunteering in the studio building many of our wood items with Dewey Jr. taking lead in designs and management. Not to mention, we all work other professional jobs as teacher, farmer, welder, and mechanics. Art is just who we are in between the crazy days of the week.

Over the past 20 years, the farm studio business has hosted many student teachers, college students, and other art professional to teach and offer lessons and private events. The studio has become a beacon of opportunity to serve many community’s social justice endeavors and fund raising for those in need. The former studio in Springfield and Urbana,Ohio served homeless individuals for Habitat for Humanity , at risk youth and developmental disability adult programs, cancer research Relay for Life, and animal rescue organizations such as Paws and Humane Society.
