A single drop of water can create tiny worlds, beautiful reflections, unexpected shapes, and a whole lot of fun experimentation. The best part? You don’t need a fancy studio—just a little patience, creativity, and a willingness to get a few things wet!

Today’s reminder: slow down, play with your camera, and find beauty in the little things. Sometimes the most extraordinary images come from the simplest subjects.

What’s the most unusual thing you’ve ever photographed?

Some scenes don’t need color to tell the story.
Spent a little time at the Missouri Botanical Garden recently, and honestly… these irises felt timeless in black and white. Soft light, delicate textures, and just enough movement to make them feel alive.

Color or monochrome, flowers always find a way to stop me in my tracks.

Sometimes you just need to slow down and let the beauty do its thing.

Tulips are my favorite. They are simple, elegant, and effortlessly beautiful. There’s something about their clean lines and soft curves that feels both peaceful and striking all at once. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they are blooming at the Missouri Botanical Garden.

There’s something quietly powerful about light…
the way it softens, reveals, and transforms even the simplest moments.

This orchid sat in the window, catching just enough glow to feel almost weightless, like it was floating between shadow and light.

Sometimes the most beautiful images aren’t created… they’re simply noticed.

Twirling into the new year like… why not?
Life doesn’t have to be loud to be beautiful. Sometimes it’s soft, flowing, and exactly enough.

This week’s 52 Frames challenge was a self-portrait. It is a reminder that growth often asks us to step just beyond what feels comfortable. Instead of overthinking it, I chose movement, grace, and a little joy.

Here’s to living fine, finding balance, and allowing ourselves the freedom to become — one gentle twirl at a time.

This cute little house went on the market last week, and I had the chance to photograph it beforehand.

I don’t shoot a ton of real estate, but every once in a while a home comes along that’s just really fun to capture — great light, thoughtful updates, and a cozy, welcoming feel throughout. This one definitely fit the bill.

This flip came together thanks to Mindy Kimler, who put in a lot of hard work and care to bring it all to life. The design was done by Victoria at Inspired House, beautiful style and attention to detail that really made the space shine.

Grateful for the opportunity and always happy to help a space show off its best side when the moment is right.

Sometimes the quiet weeks are where the best creativity happens.

Right now, I don’t have a packed calendar, and honestly, that’s okay. It’s giving me space to slow down, experiment, edit, learn, and fall in love with photography all over again.

Whether I’m chasing wildlife, creating something just for fun, or dreaming up the next idea, I’m always behind the camera seeing the world a little differently.

If you’re here for the art, the stories, or just a bit of beauty in your feed — I’m glad you’re here .

Tell me… what kind of images make you stop scrolling?
