End of the year 160 engineers’ party at !! Congratulations to our graduating seniors, , , and Mateus Barioni! Charlotte will be attending the for a Master’s in Record Production. Marcus will reside in the Sacramento area to work with his father; he will also continue to compose and perform music alongside interning as an audio engineer. Mateus plans on going home to Florida, where he will be spending time with family and helping them grow their church. We’re so proud of you three, it’s been a fantastic semester! will be next year’s senior engineer in the new studio - we can’t wait to see what comes in next!

6. Arturia – Synclavier-V – Standalone/plug-in synthesizer $149.00

There is one other stand-alone plug-in bundle I strongly recommend, although it’s much more than a plug-in bundle. It’s also a very powerful DAW with more than 70 instruments, effects, utilities, and players.

Finally, if you want to step outside beyond the world of AU or VST plug-ins, and work with a Mac platform, I recommend this incredible sound designing tool, MetaSynth CTX by U&I Software. MetaSynth is a graphic design application that allows the user to draw sound and then convert the picture into a stereo .aif, .wav, or .caf file. With MetaSynth CTX, what you see, you hear. Just keep in mind, MetaSynth is not a plug-in.
