NOW AVAILABLE - NEW WORK
FROM OUR 2015 CHAPBOOK WINNER, James K. Zimmerman

I'm pleased to inform you of the publication of my fifth book of poems, "Unbroken Circle, Unending Thread." This may be confusing, since I just sent an email 2 months ago announcing the publication of "Uncertainty," my fourth book of poems.
The poems in “Unbroken Circle, Unending Thread” hew to Mary Oliver’s admonition: “Pay attention. Be astonished. Tell about it.” The focus is on the changing seasons and the passage of time – beginning in winter and returning there in an epilogue – with a subtext of attunement to both the subtle joys of experiencing the evolving and revolving of the year and to the sense of loss inherent in the inevitability of impermanence. Embedded in the subconscious of these poems is the centrality of climate change and its disorienting and deleterious effects on all inhabitants – human and otherwise – of planet earth.

If you're interested in purchasing a copy of this book -- or the two that preceded it -- here are links:

Now available - new work from long-time contributor and friend of Comstock Review, Carla Panciera!

In One Trail of Longing, the Other of String, Carla Panciera communes with hawks, cows, owls, and loved ones, reflects on girlhood, motherhood, daughterhood, friendships, and the loss of parents, and wrestles with what bearing one's past has on the present and on the future.
