🚨 Emergency Alert – Heavy Police Presence Near KHS & KJH 🚨

Update @ 12:40 p.m.: Oncor is on site. Power in the area will be shut off while repairs are made.

The City of Kaufman is currently responding to downed power poles in the area near Kaufman High School and Kaufman Junior High. There is a heavy police presence in the vicinity to ensure traffic control and public safety.

Oncor is en route to assess the situation and begin repairs. At this time, we do not have an estimated timeline for when repairs will be completed.

As far as we are aware, both schools still have power and will continue operating as normal.

Please use caution when traveling in the area and follow all instructions from law enforcement.

We will provide updates as more information becomes available.
