2025 tested me in ways I never expected.
In April, I lost my dad—and with that loss came grief, exhaustion, and moments where simply showing up felt like a victory. At the same time, I learned hard lessons about people, priorities, and perseverance.
There were nights I lost sleep. Days I questioned my strength. Moments I almost stepped away completely.
But God.
Through daily prayer, God sustained me and reminded me that purpose doesn’t pause because of pain. He intentionally aligned a few family members, the right resources, and my crafting sisters—people who helped me carry the weight when I couldn’t carry it alone.
That same faith is what carried Nylah J Custom.
This business was built on more than creativity—it was built on obedience, resilience, and trust in God’s timing. Even in grief, God showed me that what I create with my hands is connected to what He’s doing in my heart.
This season refined me as a woman, a leader, and a business owner.
It reminded me that Nylah J Custom exists for more than products—it exists to serve with excellence, intention, and purpose.
What the enemy meant for harm, God used to strengthen both me and this brand.
Still healing.
Still building.
Still trusting God.
