Forgot to officially announce this little nest box! 🖤

Dora × Phirre gave us 7 healthy black Silver Fox babies, and everyone is looking great so far. This was a fun one to check in on, especially since Dora was bred while she was off “vacationing” at Painted Rock Rabbitry and More. Big thank you to Dominique for taking such good care of Dora and making this litter possible. Excited to watch these babies grow!

Just some fresh mimosa tea to end the night 🌙🌸

I plucked a small handful of blooms this afternoon and steeped them into the prettiest cup of tea. It came out sweet, floral, and almost a little tropical — and the color is so fun! It starts off green, then shifts to a soft subtle pink as soon as you add lemon.

A little touch of honey really makes it shine ✨️

Simple, pretty, and the perfect way to slow down after a long day 🌙

Started the weekend with 0 chickens… ended it with 17 😍🐓

Huge thank you to Painted Rock Rabbitry and More for the most handsome roo ever and his little harem. And then a few more came from my brother and sister in law 🫣

And they’re already laying?! The best little welcome-home surprise. I still have 15 colorful layer eggs in the incubator, so apparently the flock is only getting bigger from here 🤣

I love this crazy little farm life so much 🥚✨

Definitely not an expert over here, but it’s so fun trying to see what’s going on inside these little eggs. Some had clear movement, some looked a little more solid in the yolk area 🤔 and a few are so dark I can barely see a thing!

We’ll candle again in a few days when the progress should be a little more obvious 🐣
