There is a marginal risk for severe weather for portions of the forecast area this afternoon. Storms will be widespread across the area with multiple rounds of storms possible throughout the day, so most locations will receive precipitation. The primary concern in storms will be hail and strong winds. Heavy rain will also be possible in storms. The strongest storms are likely to occur between 3 PM this afternoon and 9 PM this evening.

The primary concern in storms will be hail and strong winds. Heavy rain will also be possible in storms. The strongest storms are likely to occur between 2 PM this afternoon and 9 PM this evening.

11AM 9/10 - Expect scattered showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening across the area. A few isolated strong to severe thunderstorms will have the potential to produce strong winds and hail. The best time window for thunderstorms is 2PM-7PM in Wyoming and 4PM-9PM in Nebraska.
