Claud’s Hamburgers was a Brookside institution from 1954 until it closed in 2022.

The space has been renovated by , who are celebrating their soft opening this week!

There’s a drive-thru, plenty of patio seating, and an interesting menu of healthy smoothies, juices, bowls and more.

We went with the Birthday Cake and Coffee Lover smoothies. What should we try next? 🙂

We spent a beautiful morning at the Arboretum in Woodward Park! 🌳 The Tulsa Garden Club was hosting an Arbor Day event, with information tables and activities in the Teaching Garden.

If you missed it, don’t worry - the trees are there year-round! 😉 And there are currently some helpful information cards in front of most of the trees giving a little more info about them. We learned a lot!

Do you have a favorite type of tree?

Today marks 30 years since the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City. Watch the livestream of the Remembrance Ceremony, starting at 8:30 a.m., at https://memorialmuseum.com/

“Our community, state and nation were forever changed on April 19, 1995...We invite the community to join us as we remember the Day of Darkness but continue to work to create Years of Light through our programming.” - Kari Watkins, President & CEO of the Memorial Museum

Thirty years ago today, the deadliest act of domestic terrorism on American soil changed Oklahoma City forever.

Today, those who were killed, those who survived and those changed forever. We reflect on the strength of a community that rose in the face of tragedy and the senselessness of violence that brought us here.

The 30th Anniversary Remembrance Ceremony will begin at 8:30am. It will be broadcast on all local TV stations and also streamed live on MemorialMuseum.com.

The Memorial Museum is open free of charge today, thanks to Cox Community Day. We invite you to step inside, hear the stories and carry them forward.
