Our September issue features 20 Impactful Women of the 918 ⭐️

Today, we recognize Rose Gamble, Vice President of Research and Economic Development at

Gamble has helped TU establish the Oklahoma Cyber Innovation Institute, whose programs include student camps, teacher training, hands-on experiences and curriculum development for youth, support of Fab-Lab, etc.

She has also helped establish the Institute for Robotics and Autonomy, which has teams “investigating the building and deployment of robots that may assist elderly people who are aging in place to maintain their independence.”

School Choice at BA - Early College Academy: At just 18, BA alum Christopher Capra graduated in May 2025 with THREE diplomas!

✔ BA High School Diploma
✔ Associate of Liberal Arts from Tulsa Community College (through BA’s Early College Academy)
✔ Sound Engineering Certificate from Tulsa Tech

Thanks to the Early College Academy, Christopher saved two years’ worth of college tuition and gained career-ready skills, all before leaving high school. Christopher is now pursuing a bachelor’s degree at the University of Central Oklahoma, with two years of college already complete. Way to go!

Today, we recognize Lindsey Baker, LCSW, who provides therapy at , working with primarily Spanish-speaking adolescents and their families.

Baker visits Latin America as often as possible both because she enjoys it but also so she can share experiences with the families she serves.
