Good ! It’s a wet one to start , with rain and a few rumbles of thunder on and off today, and a high near 78. Showers and storms could hang around into tonight, then we may do it all again tomorrow afternoon, so maybe keep the umbrella close and do not trust the sky just because it looks calm for five minutes.

This morning, we’re talking about the little routines that get us through the workday. How early do you get up before work just to have a slow morning, drink your coffee, scroll a little, stare into space, whatever you need before real life begins?

Then we’re getting into that one innocent video you watched, and now your whole feed has decided it is your entire personality. Maybe it’s cow hoof trimming, walk-in tubs, wh***ey, Skechers, or something even more random.

Elizabeth’s daughter and her boyfriend live a few hours away and lately they’ve been visiting less and less. Elizabeth recently found out that a big reason is because of her. The boyfriend is a vegetarian, and apparently Elizabeth’s daughter is upset that she doesn’t go out of her way to make more vegetarian dishes when they come over. Elizabeth is not refusing to feed him. There are usually side dishes, salads, bread, and other things he can eat, and he has never once complained. In fact, he’s always polite and seems perfectly happy. Elizabeth’s daughter says it’s rude that she won’t make at least one vegetarian main course or adjust some of her recipes so he has more options. Elizabeth feels like if someone has a special diet, it’s unreasonable to expect every host to redesign the menu around them. Now Elizabeth’s daughter is making this into a bigger issue than her boyfriend ever has, and their relationship is suffering because of it. Is Elizabeth being an inconsiderate host or is her daughter expecting too much?

Good morning! It’s a foggy, mostly cloudy start, but it should still be a decent day—high near 77, with maybe a passing shower this afternoon. The rain holds off until tonight, then we’re looking at steady showers and thunderstorms overnight.

This morning, we’re getting into the little things that somehow become a full-blown household debate. First up: when you grab the butter, are you slicing a piece off the end of the stick, or skimming it right across the top? There is apparently a right answer, and people have feelings about it.

We’re also talking perfect sandwich orders. Maybe it’s a diner burger with crinkle fries, a really good turkey Reuben, a loaded BLT, or peanut butter and jelly. What’s the one sandwich that instantly makes your day better?
