I’m heartbroken, but at the same time, I’m glad I finally know the truth. My soon to be ex-wife & I got married when we were just 21. We’re both 32 now & we have a 7 year old son. Over the years, we grew into total opposites. She loves going to concerts & hitting up social events with her friends, while I’m a homebody who prefers a quiet night in. I always thought it was just a difference in personality, but this past weekend changed everything. She went to a concert, got sloppy drunk & some random guy brought her home. She was so drunk that the next morning she acted as if nothing had happened. But the guy who brought her home actually reached out to apologize to me. He said he had no idea she was married. He told me that they met a few months ago, have been going to different events together & have been sleeping together. I can’t believe that after all these years, I’m just now finding out who she really is. I love the life we built & a part of me doesn’t want to leave, but I know I have to because of the cheating. I have to protect myself & my son. My main priority now is my son. I cannot bear the thought of losing him or leaving him in an unstable environment. How can I make sure I keep custody of our son?

About 9 months ago, my sister passed away from cancer. It devastated our whole family, but my heart broke for my young nieces. I immediately stepped up to help my brother-in-law care for the girls while he grieved. I thought I was just being a supportive sister & aunt. Last week, everything changed. My brother-in-law sat me down & confessed that he is in love with me. He even claimed he has always loved me, even while my sister was still alive. To make matters worse, he then asked me to go to Vegas with him for a few days to see where things go. I’m completely grossed out & uncomfortable. He’s 43 & I’m 26. The whole situation feels weird, creepy & very disrespectful to my sister’s memory. I have absolutely no romantic interest in him. I feel sick keeping this a secret & I want to tell my parents, but I’m scared of the fallout. If I speak up & things get dramatic, I’m afraid my brother-in-law will retaliate by cutting me & our family off from my nieces. They’ve already lost their mother & I can't bear the thought of them losing us too. What do I do? Tell my family? Or keep quiet?
