A small crowd watched as the American Flag was raised to half mast this memorial day and listened to some wise words from Vermilion's finest. Vermilion city council decided to give Liberty Ave. business owners some more time to put in a sidewalk, but had some disagreements over the flag laws in the city. Brownhelm is still putting up a fight against mega developments and is making their feelings known about the Lorain County sewer project.
