What a grand old Flag πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ And what a sight to see at Showse Park! A small crowd watched as the American Flag was raised to half mast this memorial day and listened to some wise words from Vermilion's finest. Vermilion city council decided to give Liberty Ave. business owners some more time to put in a sidewalk, but had some disagreements over the flag laws in the city. Brownhelm is still putting up a fight against mega developments and is making their feelings known about the Lorain County sewer project. The Port Authority has plans for new docks, and Rich Tarrant gives us some history on Vermilion-On-The-Lake. Finally we can wear shorts! There she goes⛴️⛴️⛴️!!! How many of you made an early morning journey to the water to see the USS Cleveland? How many lucky ones of you had a boat to see it up close? This week included a lot of big decisions in Vermilion Township, such as the decision to buy an excavator, and to cut meetings back to once a month. The VHS jazz band and pep band received some disappointing news from the school board and Bowl Thyme is seeking approval for their food truck park venture with Linwood Landing.
