The secret to the perfect grilled lamb chop? Keep it simple, and hit it with the sauce the second it leaves the heat. 🔥🥩

For our May issue, we sat down with Trey and Abbie Cooper to learn about their culinary journey—from cooking traditional Thanksgiving dinners for displaced students in Vancouver to hosting VIP theater crowds right here in Waco. Trey shared his foolproof, mouthwatering Greek lamb chop recipe featuring a fresh blend of lemon juice, olive oil, oregano, and garlic. Trust us, your next dinner party needs this.

What a wonderful way to end the school year! 🙌 Congratulations to the Midway High School students for completing this project! When dreams take flight ✈️🛫 ☁️

✈️ You may have heard… Midway ISD students BUILT AN AIRPLANE.

Tonight, we celebrate an incredible milestone as we honor our Tango Flight students, mentors, partners, and community members who helped bring this project to life during our Tango Flight First Flight Celebration.

Over the past two years, Midway students have worked alongside aviation and industry professionals to help build a real RV-12 aircraft learning hands-on skills in engineering, aviation, teamwork, precision, problem-solving, and leadership along the way.

What makes this story even more special is where these students are headed next:

🔧 Engineering programs
🛩️ Aviation careers
🎓 Universities across Texas and beyond
🇺🇸 Military service
✈️ Commercial pilot training

This project didn’t just build an airplane it helped launch futures.

While weather and FAA considerations may adjust portions of tonight’s experience, we are still excited to celebrate the students and the journey that brought us here.

📺 Watch tonight’s celebration LIVE on https://midway.tv/
🕠 Program begins around 5:30 PM

And while we celebrate tonight, we also want to wish GOOD LUCK today to:
🎭 Our Midway High School One Act Play team as they compete at STATE!
🥎 Our Midway Softball team as they continue their playoff run!

It’s a great day to be a Panther. ❤️🐾
