On July 20th a light in the small press universe dimmed when my beloved husband, Sam Gafford, "fell into shadow". As long as I had known Sam, he was involved with small press starting with the APA's he belonged to, then magazines he put out, his Hobgoblin Press, ending with Ulthar Press. He was very proud of the work he had accomplished. When Sam left us, he still had many projects either started or planned. In honor of him we are going to continue Ulthar Press. Over the next few months we will be looking at what projects we will continue with and those we may have to let go. We will focus on the books that best represent what Sam would have wanted to publish, focusing on his Hodgson Projects, his Poe Project and of course his Lovecraftian and Weird Fiction work. Very happy to announce that Ulthar Press will be set up in the Readercon dealer's room this July! We'll have a bunch of our books there and a selection of used books as well. If you're in Boston that weekend, please stop by and say 'hi!'

Although Readercon is modeled on "science fiction conventions," we have no art show, no costumes, no gaming, and almost no media. Instead, Readercon features a near-total focus on the written word.

Due to popular demand, I am extending the deadline to order issues of SARGASSO! until June 17th. I've heard from a number of people who want copies but need time to get their orders in. However, that will definitely be the end for these three volumes. After June 17th, the only place to get them will be from me at conventions.
